Customize the conditional formatting
Color Scales
Color scale visualize the data in a 2-dimensional format in the form of colored maps. The color maps use hue, saturation, or luminance to achieve color variation to display various details. There are different formats such as sequential, qualitative, diverging, continuous, and continuous-diverging .

Highlight the values using a predefined Color Scheme
- Title: You can customise the title for applied conditional formatting in color scale
- Apply to: You can select columns to apply the conditional formatting
- Row Hierarchy level: You can apply the color scales to either Total rows or only values or both
- Exclude: You can also exclude the grand total row from the applied colors
- Formated by: This gives 4 options to format the values through - Rules (If condition), Color scale, classification and ranking.
- Based on: Select the values based on measures added
- Color scale for: You can select from background, fonts or data bars
- Heat map for: select from the row, column or table-wise format
- Color scale type: You can select from the various option from the color scales
- Color scheme: the formatting of the colors can be selected and you can also reverse the selection, depending on the bands
- Number of bands, You can apply a number of bands also
- Hide value: Check this for hiding value
- Auto font color: Font color alerts with the band colors by enabling the check box
Classification
Classification provides options to highlight values using text, icon set, and rating. The available options are shown in the below image.
Consider an example.
Click on the column 2021 plan and select the option ‘High Medium Low’ from the menu.

Classify the values into different groups

- Title: You can customise the title for applied conditional formatting in color scale
- Apply to: You can select columns to apply the conditional formatting
- Row Hierarchy level: You can apply the color scales to either Total rows or only values or both

- Display: Select the pattern of the display, You can add the display mode with various classifications
